We ask our horses to do & tolerate so much that is unnatural to them in order to live in our human world. I often talk about how important it is to be able to read your horse & this video talks about a very important aspect of that: understanding the difference between "no" & "I can't." "No" is a dominant response. "I can't" is a fear or tension response. "No" usually requires more motivation to turn into a "yes." "I can't" typically requires more time & increased relaxation in order for the horse to be able to say "yes." Reading the difference between "no" & "I can't" will lead you to more successful responses as a trainer.
